Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern the relationship between SiteLaunch (a partnership between Shadowtek and Lead Laundry) and any client who engages us to design and host a website. By proceeding with our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Our services

SiteLaunch provides:

  • Design and development of a professional website (1 page, or up to 3 pages, depending on your chosen package)
  • Mobile-optimised, responsive design
  • Contact and quote request forms
  • Basic on-page SEO setup
  • Secure hosting on Cloudflare infrastructure

SiteLaunch websites are static sites, not built on a CMS such as WordPress. There is no admin login for you, staff, or a third party (such as an SEO agency) to edit pages directly. Content changes are made by us — see the hosting plans below for what's included.

Additional pages, features, or integrations may incur extra charges, agreed in writing before work begins.

3. Pricing and payment

Our standard pricing at the time of writing is:

  • Starter Package setup fee: $199 (AUD, inc. GST) for a single page, payable upfront to begin work
  • Growth Package setup fee: $599 (AUD, inc. GST) for up to 3 pages, payable upfront to begin work
  • Blog Package setup fee: $799 (AUD, inc. GST) for up to 3 pages plus a managed blog section, payable upfront to begin work. Up to 3 pages plus a managed blog section. The first 4 posts/month are published as part of the Secured, Hardened & Managed + Edits plan ($40/month) — see Blog Publishing for higher volume.
  • Blog Publishing: $80/month (AUD, inc. GST) add-on — For Blog Package clients who need more than the 4 posts/month included on the $40/month plan. We publish content exactly as provided — we don't write, edit, research or SEO-optimise it. Billed monthly in advance.
  • Hosting Only: $10/month (AUD, inc. GST) — Cloudflare hosting, CDN, standard firewall, DNS, SSL, uptime monitoring and routine security patches. No content edits, no WAF hardening beyond Cloudflare's standard protection. Billed monthly in advance, only commences after you have approved the final design.
  • Secured, Hardened & Managed + Edits: $40/month (AUD, inc. GST) — everything in Hosting Only, plus a custom-hardened Cloudflare WAF ruleset on top of the standard protection, plus 1 small text/image update per month, 2 business day turnaround. Anything bigger (new pages, layout or design changes) is quoted separately. Billed monthly in advance, only commences after you have approved the final design.

Work begins once the setup fee is paid and onboarding is complete. Monthly hosting fees do not start until you have reviewed and approved the design. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to the setup fee.

Prices may change. Any change to your hosting fee will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

4. Your responsibilities

To allow us to deliver your website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information, content, and any required assets (logo, photos, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Review and provide feedback on designs within the agreed timeframe
  • Ensure the content you provide does not infringe any third-party rights

5. Intellectual property

Once the setup fee is paid in full, you own the content and copy on your website. The underlying website code and design templates remain the intellectual property of SiteLaunch. You are granted a licence to use the website for your business for as long as your hosting subscription is active.

6. Hosting and uptime

We use Cloudflare infrastructure to host your website and aim for high availability. We do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not liable for outages caused by third-party infrastructure providers, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your monthly hosting subscription at any time with 30 days written notice to [email protected]. Upon cancellation, hosting will cease at the end of the current billing period. The setup fee is non-refundable once the website has been launched.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, SiteLaunch's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by you in the preceding three months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including loss of revenue or business opportunity.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
